Walter Kinlaw Obituary

Kinlaw was born to the late Frank Kinlaw and Rosa Lee Kinlaw Williams on Feburary 16, 1927 in Hardeeville SC.A Time To Build: His education background began in Beaufort County Public Schools. Afterwards, he furthered his education at Georgia State Industrial College, where he specialized in carpentry and building foundations. Later in life Kinlaw faithfully served his country in the United States Army.Walter was a hard worker and loved what he did, He was employed as a logger in his younger days. In the 1960's he was employed by Robert Woods Consturction Company on Hilton Head Island, SC, specializing in laying foundation. He maintained employment until he retired in the late 1990's.A Time To Love: Kinlaw as he was affectionately Known was kind, loving, and very generous to those who knew and loved him. He was an avid historian and conversationalist.A Time To Die: "Not one shall be lost though they pass thought the age departing from earth and the life they have Known. They have triumph over death and God sweetly called them home." On September 29, 2011, he made his transition from earth to glory at Coastal Carolina Hospital in Hardeeville, SCA Time To Mourn: He leaves to cherish his loving memories one dauthter, Ada Owens of Hardeeville, SC; one grandson, Robert(Fredicka) Kinlaw of Savannah, Ga; three granddaughters: Eureka (Benjamin) Fields and Trendella James, both of Hardeeville, SC andEzretta (Joseph) Blount of Evans Mills, NY; thirteen great-grandchildren: one uncle, Harris (Dorothy) Kinlaw of Huger, SC; one aunt, Ernestine Washington of Huger, SC; four nieces: Gloria (William) Murray of Charleston, SC, Gunnell Bennett, Carletter (Carl) Williams, Roberta Simmons, all of Hardeeville, SC; one nephew, Robert (Linda) Simmons of Savannah, GA, Ethel Wilson,Elsie Kinlaw, both of Connecticut, Mary Lewis Williams, Odaree Squire, all of New York, Joseph Preston Lewis of Seattle, WA; one adopted niece, Diane Ford of Hardeeville, SC; and a host of nieces,nephews, cousins and friends, including a special friend, Lillie Young.
