Mrs. Vernell Hamilton,61, slipped into eternal rest at herresidence on Saturday February 23, 2013. Funeral arrangementswill be announced at a later date.Vernell "Nell" Hamilton was born August 6, 1952 to Steven and Annie Mae Jenkins of Hardeeville, South Carolina.  Vernell attended Mathew E. West School of Hardeeville.She was a loving and faithful member of Mt.Calvary Baptist Church in Purrysburg, South Carolina.  She leaves to cherish her everlasting memories her husband Stephen Hamilton of Hardeeville, South Carolina, Mother Annie Mae Jenkins of Hardeeville, South Carolina.She was blessed with five childen Lamont (Gail) Jenkins of Spartanburg, South Carolina, Richard A. Jenkins of Hardeeville, South Carolina, Calvin Chisolm of McCormick, South Carolina, Steven (Rosalind) Chisolm of Hardeeville, South Carolina, preceded her in death and Annie Mae Hamilton (Curtis) of Columbus, Georgia. She also raised three children as her own Randy D.Hamilton, Jay'Shaun Jenkins both of Hardeeville,South Carolina and Felicia Brown of Orangeburg, South Carolina.She has two sisters Margie (Robert) Pressley preceded her in death Linden,NJ and Maxine (Jerome) Washington of Hardeeville, South Carolina. She also had four brothers; Jessie Jenkins preceded her in death, Steven (Alberta) Jenkins Jr. of Port Wentworth, Georgia, Joseph (Dianne) Jenkins and Thomas (Sorona) Jenkins both of Hardeeville, South Carolina.Her children blessed her with nine grand childred, five great grand's and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Devoted friends Doreatha Washington preceded her in death, Rose Hamilton, Michael Doris, Katie Brown, Barbara Bush, Annie Lou Bellinger and many others.Vistation on Friday, March 1, 2013, from 7-8pm at Stiney's Funeral Home, 70 Stiney Road, Hardeeville, SCFuneral Services Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 2:00pm at MtCalvary Baptist Church, Purryburg, South Carolina
