Entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 21, 2016, Mr. Roy D. Ulmer, 67, a heavy equipment operator of Hardeeville, South Carolina.
Mr. Ulmer was preceded in death by parents Mr. Joseph and Mrs. Anna Ulmer and siblings; James Ulmer, Joseph Ulmer, Moses Ulmer, Herman Ulmer, Johnny Ulmer, Elizabeth Glass, Margaret McKenize, Ella Mae Smalls and Charles Ulmer.
Mr. Ulmer is survived by his mother, Mrs. Nora Primus Whitting; stepmother, Mrs. Omega B. Williams; children, Carlos DJ Ulmer, Roy (Cinoy) Ulmer, Jr., Michelle Hopkins and Rasheeda Horne; siblings, Rodney (Laura) Ulmer, Dale (Margaret) Ulmer, Doris Debbie Bentley, Joyce L. (Donnie) Leavell, Alfonza M. Ulmer, Garland (Cynthia) Ulmer, Myra A. Ulmer, Cleb L. Ulmer, Margie Ulmer, Willie Mae Hicks, Eugene (Rebecca) Ulmer, Danny Ulmer, Eugene Primus, Edward Barnside, Aubrey Whitting and Okem Whitting; Sister-in-laws, Viola Ulmer and Ernestine Ulmer; special nephews, Antonio Ulmer, Joseph Leavell and Keven Leavell and a host of other relatives and friends.
Public Viewing will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Edith S. Brown Memorial Room of Stiney's Funeral Home.
Family and friend are invited to attend his Celebration of Life Services on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Stephens AME Church, 710 Main Street, Hardeeville, SC. Interment will be in the State Cemetery.
