Mr. Michael Malabre-Thompson Mr. Michael Malabre-Thompson, 48, son of Mrs. Evett Hayward of Bluffon, SC slipped into eternal rest Wednesday Dec. 12, 2012 atCape Fear Valley Medical Center Fayetteville, NC.  Funeral servicewill be held at 11:00am Thursday Dec. 20, 2012 at Stiney's Chapel 70 Stiney Road Hardeeville SC.  Interment Union cemetery Hilton Head Is. SC.Michael Keith Thompson Malabre was born on March 17, 1964 atUniversity Hospital in Kingston, Jamaica, West Indies, to Evett B.Thompson.He spent his early childhood in Washington, DC before the familymoved to Neptune, New Jersey.  While attending Neptune HighSchool, Michael was a premier member of the Vasity WrestlingTeam.  He participated in the NJROTC.  He graduated from NepturnSenior High School in 1981.  Michael lived in Maryland and Virginiabefore settling in Fayetteville, North Carolina, where he worked inthe construction and automobile industries.Michael was a kind-hearted and loving individual who always had awarm and engaging smile.  He was affectionately known as"Jersey" by many of his friends. He was known for having an encouraging word and was always willing to lend a helping hand.Michael had an outgoing personality which could be heard throughhis infectious laughter and felt through his great love of life.Michael's greatest love was for his children and family.He is predeceased by his Step-father, Roland Hayward.He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving mother, EvettHayward of Bluffton, SC; beloved children: Leandra Nicole Mayweather of Philadelphia, PA, Chelsie Marie Holland of Hyatts-ville, MD, Michael Keith Holland of Sliver Springs, MD and PhillipPreston Anderson of Fayetteville, NC; siblings: Lois H.Thompson ofMontclair, NJ, Craig A. Thompson of Beltsville, MD and Ann Marie M. Hayward of Bluffton, SC; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
