Entered into eternal rest on Thursday, March 10, 2016, Mrs. Mercell Simmons of Hardeeville, South Carolina.

Beloved daughter of the late Thelma and Curtis Simmons, Sr.; mother of Gerard Simmons, Kahntilida Simmons Coleman, LaTisha L. DeVore and Jack D. Devore, III.

Viewing will be held on Friday, March 18, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Edith S. Brown Memorial Room of Stiney's Funeral Home. (There will be no family hour.)

Family and friends are invited to attend Homegoing Services on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Greater Pentecostal Temple, 5905 South Okatie Highway, Hardeeville, South Carolina. Interment Porter Cemetery, Purrysburg, South Carolina.
