Mr. Masten B. Downey, 94 entered into eternal rest at his residence on June 8, 2015. Homegoing Celebration will be Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at First Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 10 Robertson Street, Bluffton, SC. Interment at Beaufort National Cemetery, Beaufort, SC.
His legacy of love will be cherish by: daughter, Rita Chappelle (Kevin) Jessup; grandchildren, Syrita (Aaron) Watson, Kevin A., Sean and Maurice Jessup; great-grandchildren, Aaron Jr., Myles and Israel Watson, Khylie and Lalia; niece, Elizabeth Barns; great-nephew, Masten L. Downey; special niece and caregiver, Joan Chin and Liz Bruin; a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
