Mrs. Mary Lee BrownleeMrs. Mary Lee Brownlee, 72, slipped into eternal rest on Dec 17, 2012at her residence in Lithonia, GA.  Visitation will be held at 7-8pm Friday Dec. 21, 2012 at St. Matthew Baptist Church, 3709 OkatieHighway Bluffton SC. Funeral sevice will be heald at 11:00am Saturday Dec. 22, 2012 from St. Matthew Baptist Church, Bluffton SC.Interment: Joe Williams cemetery, Hardeeville SC.Mary L. Brownlee was born June 20, 1940, to the late BeatriceGreen and Henry Riley; and reared by Henry and Mary Green.  Anative of Hardeeville, South Carolina, she attended the JasperCounty Schools, where she received her formal education.At an early age, she accepted Christ as her personal Savior andwas baptized at St. Matthew Baptist Church under the leadershipof Reverend J.J.Jenkins.She relocated to New York City where she joined Beulah BaptistChurch and served as an usher for many years.  She was employedat New York City Health and Hospital for 28 years.She returned home where she reunited at St. Matthew BsptistChurch, under the leadership of Reverend Donald Sheftall. Sr.On October 26, 1956, she was joined in holy matrimony to WillieJames Brownlee.  They were blessed with three children.She leaves to cherish her memories a husband of fifty-six years,Willie Brownlee; one daughter, Cathie Louder of Lithonia, GA; twosons: Willie James Brownlee, Jr. (Robin) of Hardeeville, SC andRondy Brownlee (Jeannine) of Stone Mountain, GA; six sisters;Carrie Bell Chisolm, Lillian Chisolm, Patricia Walls, Cynthia Green, Ruthie Riley and Leila Bryant; four brothers: Earl Green, Henry RileyJr., Harold Riley and Gerald Riley; six brothers-in-law: George Brown (Evelyn), Tom Riley, Jr., Roosevelt Riley (Lilliam), BenjaminMack, Norman Edward and Steven Jenkins, Jr.; three sisters-in-lawRuth Hilton, Carrie Bell Knighton and Janie Moore; three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; five godchildren; a hostof nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
