Martha GermanMartha German, 77, slipped into eternal rest on TuesdaySeptember 25, 2012 at Memorial University Medical Center,Savannah, Ga.  Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this timebut will be annouced at a later date by Stiney's Funeral Home.Visitation will be held 7-8 pm Saturday September 29, 2012 at St. Mark Baptist Church 131 Bellinger Hill Road, Bellinger Hill SC.Funeral Service will be held 2:30 pm Sunday September 30, 2012at Greater Pentecostal Temple 5905 South Okatie HighwayHardeeville SC. Interment Cummingsville Cemetery, Bellinger HillSC.Mrs. Martha B. German was born on March 10, 1935, the daughterof the late James Blackshear and the late Mary Jefferson of Hardeeville (Levy Community), South Carolina.  Martha was a dedicated member of the St. Mark Baptist Church in Bellinger Hill,South Carolina, where she served faithfully as an usher for manyyears until her health declined.Martha was a native of Levy Community of Hardeeville, SouthCarolina, where she attented the public schools of Jasper County,South Carolina.  She retired after many years of faithful employ-ment from Howard Johnson's of Hardeeville.Mrs, German was caring, dedicated,loving, kindhearted woman of God.  She was adored and admired by her grandchildren.  In herearlier years, she devoted her time to caring for the sick and shutin.  In her later years, she faithfully attended the HardeevilleSenior Citizens Center.  Then on Tuesday, September 25, 2012, atMemorial Medical Center, she slipped into eternal rest.She leaves behind her memories to cherish, her husband Reverend Raymond German Sr., Pastor Emeritus of St. Mark Baptist Church.She also leaves behind six children: Raymond German, Jr., GeraldGerman (Johnell), Jeanette Badger (Randy) and Eugene German(Gail), all of Hardeeville, SC, Rodney German (Yvette) of Lillington,NC and Prophetess Detra German of Virginia Beach, VA; sisters:Rosalee Midgett of Hardeeville, SC, Georgeanne James of SavannahGa and Elizabeth Jefferson of Hardeeville, SC; brothers: EdwardJefferson of Hardeeville, SC; sisters-in-law: Annabelle Paul Wright(James) of Hardeeville/Tampa, FL, Geneva Duston (Elder Gurtha) ofBahama, NC, Rebecca Walker of Savannah,GA,Claretha German of Hardeeville, SC and Florence German of Savannah, GA: brothers-in-law:Jessie German (Ethe) of Tampa, FL, Robert German, Sr.(Dorothy) and Williams German, both of Hardeeville, SC; thirteengrandchildren; four great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; devoted friends, Carrrie B.Young, Jessie M. Fields and Mildred Johnson, all of Hardeeville, SC:devoted family, Rosalee L. Midgett, Edward Jefferson, RosemaryBlackshear and Annabelle Paul Wright.
