Mrs. Marjorie Green Stevenson,58, slipped into eternal rest on December 9, 2014 at Memorial Health University, Savannah GA. Funeral arrangements are pending. On Tuesday Dec.ember 9, 2014, at Memorial Health University Medical Center, our dearly beloved Mariiie Greene-Stevenson made a peaceful tranSition from earth to glory, from labor unto eternal rest. As she departed this mortal world, she shall be missed from the family circle, church family and from her community. Mrs. Margie Greene.SteveDSoo: was born in to the late Carrie Bell Greene-Young of Hardeeville, South Carolina:Sbe attended Jasper County Scha:ol. Margie was. united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Bernard Stevenson. In this union three children was born. She was self employed for a number of years as a Custom Window Treatment Designer. Margie became a member of Macedonia Baptist Church under the esteem leadership of The Rev. James Je~s Jr. She sang in the MBC Senior Choir and Gf!oir United until her health begin to fail. She had very quiet and loving spirit. . . Margie enjoyed life and wo.rked f~ithfully. for the Lord. She was a devoted, ecaring, sweet woman of God and Jove her children with an everlasting love. Margie was predeceased in death by her parents Joe and Carrie &II Young and her oldest brother Melvin Greene. Margie leaves to cherish fond rnemories one daughter, Latoya Stevenson, two sons Jermaine Stevenson, Sr: and Byron Stevenson, Hardeeville, SC. Two sisters, Willie Mae Brown (Vain Sr.) of Hardeeville, S.C., Valeria Jones (Willie), Sanford Fl.; three brothers: Douglas (&verly) of FayettevitJe, N.C., Deacon Daniel Young, and Bernard Young of Hardeeville, S.C. two goddaughters Amanda Young and Monika Sheppard, 12 grandchildren: and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and sorrowing friends.
