Mrs. Jeanne Wrye NeeseMrs. Jeanne Wrye Neese, 85, slipped into enternal rest on Friday,May 5, 2012 at her residence. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time but will be announced at a later date by Stiney's Funeral Home.Mrs. Jeanne Cecelia Wrye Schneider, 85, wife of the late Dr. HenryGlenne Neese, and the late Walter Edwin Schneider, Jr., died May4th, 2012, after a long illness at her home in Hilton Head, SouthCarolina. Born in Savannah, Georgia, she was a the daughter ofWilliam Winford Wryem and Ruby Chastain. SHe is formerly of High-point, NC: Atlanta, Georgia; Philadelphia, PA; Cincinnatic, OH;Edina, MN; and Kiawah, SC. She moved forty times in all, lovingto buy and sell real estate, and build and remodel homes.She was a graduate of North Fulton High School in Atlanta, Georgiaand attended the University of Georgia. She was a member of the Junior League, and held many positions in civic and social clubs.She was a avid golfer, bridge player, and gardener, as welll as anexcellent cook. She loved to talk about politics and the stockmarket, and read the Wall Street Journal everyday until her death.She is survied by her three children: Laura Schneider (Gordon)Guthrie, Georgetown, KY: Clarissa Brazelton Schneider, Chattanooga, TN: and Sarah "Sally" Schneider (Don) shaffer, Atlanta, Ga; two stepchildren, Harry Glenn (Joann) Neese,Jr.,Wyoming, Delaware; and Robin Neese (Larry) Bramble, LincolnUniversity, Pennsylvania; five grandchildren: Gordeon Page GuthrieIII, Baton Rouge, LA; Joseph Schneider Guthrie, Lexington, KY; Zophiah "Zoe" Eva Weiss, Camille Louise Shaffer, and DanielHouston Shaffer, all of Atlanta; two step grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and many friends.The family would like to express its appreciation to her wonderfulfriends who were helpful to her in her later days, and would expecially like to thank Wanda Cooper, who assisted her until herdeath.
