Visitation will be 7-8 pm Thursday March 28, 2013 at Stiney's Chapel, 70 Stiney Road, Hardeeville SC. Funeral service will be 11:00 am Friday March 29, 2013 at St. Stephen AME Church, 710 Main St. Hardeeville SC. Viewing 10:00 am until the hour of service. Interment: Purrysburg Cemetery Hardeeville SC.Isaac "Ike" Jenkins, the son of the late Catherine Salters andFrank Jenkins was born May 17, 1951, in Hardeeville SC. Hewas a lifetime resident of Hardeeville and graduate of WestHigh School. Isaac was employed by Caraustar Recovered Fiber Group forover eight years. Prior to that he was a laborer with Henry Simmons Construction. Isaac was an entrepreneur. He specializedin lawn care and lawn mower repair. He believed that hard work isthe best investment a man can make. Isaac was quite, honest, dependable and committed to his workand helping others. He enjoyed his work and worked until hishealth failed. He was well loved and respected by all who knowhim.
