The Spirit of a Virtuous woman called Eula Mae Glover, born May 7,1924 in Rincon, Georgia, found itshumble beginning in a loving family environment that providedcountless opportunities for joy, happiness and the love of herparents, the late Mae Bell and Summer Young, Jr. She was educated in the Effingham County public school system.A VIRTUOUS LOVE...She was united in Holy Matrimony to WalterGlover, Jr. on July 21,1946 and from this union they were blessed four loving and dedicated children; Shirley,Mary Frances, Doris, andGeorge. She loved and cared for them all unconditionally.A VIRTUOUS LIFE...At an early age Eula accepted Christ as herpersonal Savior and became a member of Bethel A.M.E. Church in Rincon, Georgia, where she served faithfully for many years. After moving to Hardeeville, SC, Eula followed the light of God and offered steadfast and devoted service to St. Stephen A.M.E. Church where she served actively for over 60 years. She was amember of class number three, a loyal choir member, a devotedstewardess and a diligent member of the Missionary Society. Formany years she worked as a licensed cosmetologist and also as adomestic worker. Eula Glover truly and honestly lived the life of avirtuous woman. She was a loving person who exemplified integrity, and was an encouragement to others. Although she isgone her loving spirit will linger in the hearts of those who lovedher.A LIVING LEGACY OF VIRTUE... Eula Mae entered into eternal reston September 26, 2011. Her devoted husband, Walter Glover, Jr.preceded her in death and her ten sibling. She leaves to cherishher memories: three daughters; Shirley V. Taylor of Savannah, GaMary Frances Glass Clark and Doris Glover, both of Hardeeville SC;one son, George Glover of Hardeeville, SC; two devoted sons-in-law; Presiding Elder James E. Taylor and James Clark; one daughter-in-law,Brenda Glover; two brothers-in-law: Leroy Gloverof Hollywood, FL and Primus Glover of Hardeeville, SC; one sister-in-law, Mamie Lou Graves (Rev. Herbert) of Jersey City, NJ; fourgrandchildren; Tommy Glass (Nichole) of Hyde Park, NY, NatalieGlover of Bluffton,SC, Keisha Glover of Hardeeville ,SC and Theresa Scarborough of Atlanta, Ga: and a host of nieces,nephews, cousins and friends.
