Eddie Toomer Sr.Mr. Eddie Toomer Sr., 94, slipped into eternal rest on May 28,2013 at Tara of Thunderbolt, Thunderbolt GA.  Visitation will be7-8pm Tuesday June 4, 2013 at Stiney's Chapel 70 Stiney Road.Hardeeville SC. Funeral service will be 11:00 am Wednesday June 5,2013 at Greater Pentecostal Temple, 5905 South Okatie Highway,Hardeeville SC. Interment Pelot cemetery Hardeeville SC.Mr. Eddie Toomer, Sr., the son of the late Albert and Anna Toomers, was born April 2, 1919 in Jasper County.  He attended the Jasper County public schools.He accepted Christ as his Lord & savior and joined the Lewis Pentecostal Temple in Hardeeville, South Carolina.  He has beenretired for many years.He was unitd in Holy Matrimony on June 28,1950 to FrancesRobinson.  He was the father of three sons and four daughters.On Tuesday, may 28, 2013, Mr. Toomer entered into eternal restat Tara Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Savannah,Ga.He leaves his devoted wife, Mrs. Frances R. Toomer, also his seven children, Ann Toomer, Virgina Toomer, both from New York,Eddie Toomer, Jr. (Yvette), Charles Toomer (Holly), Waajidah Smith (Michael), all from Seattle, Washington, Antoinette Brooker(John) and Wallace Lee (Marie), both from Hardeeville, South Carolina. He also leaves 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren,a devoted niece & nephew, Wanda & William Hankerson, specialfriends and neighbors, Maxine Washington, Thomasina Mack, Ella Garvin, Priestly Hopkins, Benjamin Bing, along with a host of greatfamily members and friends.
