Dolly Chalmers, 81, entered into eternal rest on July 7, 2015. The hours of visitation will be Friday, July 10, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Edith S. Brown Memorial Room of Stiney's Funeral Home. Celebration of Life Services will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at First African Baptist Church, 4526 South Okatie Highway, Hardeeville, SC. Interment in Hardy Cemetery, Bellingerhill Road.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories: Her husband, William Chalmers, Sr.; three sons, William (Earl) Chalmers, Anthony Chalmers and Daren Wayne (Kimberlyn) Chalmers; seven daughters, Freda Chalmers, Florine Heyward, Vernita Knighton, Virginia (Ronald) Joyner, Evangelist Genise Bing, Rozetta Washington and Maleia Chalmers; two sisters, Emily Orr and Lucy Heyward; one brother, Frank Heyward; one brother-in-law, Daniel Chalmers; three sister-in-laws, Ruth (Audley) Kerr, Wilhelmia Chalmers and Frances Chalmers; a special grand daughter and son, Regina Heyward and Travis Brown; two Godchildren Francis West and Lorenzo German; an adopted son, Micheal (Rochelle) Bush; two daughter-in-laws, Sharon Chalmers and Barbara Chalmers; a special niece, Ruth Ann Ford; 34 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
