Derrick V Burnett

My life on earth was brief but don't prolong it with undue grief. My life was beautiful; for as long as it lasted, but the journey of my life has come to an end after sixty one years. Some things in life are impossible for mankind to fully understand. Our time on earth is just one of those questions that mankind will never be able to understand. No matter how long God has entrusted our beloved ones here on earth, their sudden departure is hard to understand. As a family our hearts are heavy, so we must depend on God Almighty for our strength, accept God's decision, and abide by his holy words.

On Wednesday, July 30th 2025 God in his Infinite wisdom and mercy saw that Derrick Burnett, 61, had finished his assignment here on Earth and called him home. He was the loving son of Ms. Lucille N. Burnett.

Derrick's Celebration of life will be held on Monday, August 04, 2025 at 11:00am at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, 3763 Bees Creek Road, Ridgeland, SC 29936
