Clifton Frost

Profile of LifeClifton Elias Frost was born in Hardeeville SC on June 5, 1930 toElias Frost and Louise Ford Frost and was the second of eightchildren. Clifton departed this life on December 5, 2011 at ConeyIsland Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. Clifton was 81 years old.He completed his education in the Jasper/Beaufort County schoolsystem within the state of South Carolina. Before leaving home, he became a member of St. Phillips Baptist Church. He later moved to Baltimore, MD and later settled in New York where he worked for Schultz Enterprises in the metal shop for over 30 yearsand retired in July 1987.  During his years of work, he continued his education gainingcredentials of commercial refrigeration and air conditing. He livedin New York until his demise.His sister Margaret Primus, Kathryn Judson Mcnair and HazelFrost preceded him in death.Clifton will be greatly missed by family and friends and will beforever remembered for his pioneering spirit. He leaves to cherishhis memory four sisters; Mary Burroughs of Atlanta, GA, LouisePrimus of Brooklyn, NY, Ruth Mae Primus of Hardeeville SC andHelena Williams (Sherman) of Fayetteville, NC, one dauthter;Diane Frost Hill of Charlotte, NC, one son; Melvin Frost (Cookie)of Harlem, NY. In addition he is survived by five grandchildren;Kristin Hill, Kristal Frost, Makayle Frost, Angelique Frost, DesireeFrost and a host of nices,nephews,and cousins.
