Mrs. Christina Bryant White entered into eternal rest on January 19, 2015 at Coastal Carolina Hospital, Hardeeville SC. Mrs White was 100 years old. Funeral arrangements are pending. Sister Christine Bryant White quietly made a peaceful transition on January 19, 2015, at Coastal Carolina Hospital, Hardeeville, SC. "Tina", as she was affectionately known was the ftrst of eight children born to the late Cyrus and Fannie Bryant on January l , 1915, in Bellinger Hill, South Carolina. As a Church Member: Sister White was a life-long member of Sl. Stephen R.M.U.E. Church. She moved away to New York for many years but never lost connection with her church. After moving back to Savannah she returned to her church and was a hard worker. Sister White was a dedicated member of the Senior Usher Board; she was very active and supportive of the church and it's denomination until her health failed. As a Wife and Mother: Sister White was married to the late Cornelius Scott. The union was blessed with one child, Evelyn Scott. She was also blessed with one son, Cyrus White who preceded her in death, one adopted daughter and caretaker, Hazel Scott Wilder. She was a devoted, loving and caring mother. She was loved by everyone for her firmness and no nonsense. Cherished Memories: She leaves to cherish her memories a daughter Evelyn Scott of New York, NY; an adopted daughter and caretaker, Hazel Scott Wilder of Bellinger Hill, SC; a devoted niece, Johnnie Mae Polite of Hardeeville, SC; a special grandnephew, Michael (Rochelle) Bush of Bellinger Hill, SC; two special nieces, Anna Bell Paul -Wright and Ruth Ann Johnson Ford; two sisters-In law: Maria Harris White of White Plains, NY and Theresa Scott Hardeeville, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, also "Spotty" her cat and best friend.
