Interment: Joe Williams CemeteryHardeeville SC.Chaney Bell Bright was born on May 2, 1933, to the late Deacon Henry Green and Mary Richardson Green. She was the eighth ofthirteen children, nine of which preceded her in death. A nativeof Hardeeville, South Carolina, she attended the Jasper CountySchools where she received her formal education.In September of 1945, she accepted Christ as her personal Saviorand was baptized at St Matthew Baptist Church under the leader-ship of Reverend J. Jenkins. She was a member of the Pastor'sAide, President of the Usher Broad and Mother of he Church.She worked for Sea Pines Plantation on HIlton Head Island for numerous years.She was joined in Holy Matrimony tothe late Leroy" Adam" Bright in1952. Together they raised six children.On June 17, 2012, God called her from labor to rest.She leaves to cherish her memories six children: Thomas (Lucille)Bright of Hardeeville, SC, David (Shirley) Bright of Charleston, SCVernita (Alfred) Rivers, Shirley (Leroy) Saxon, Leroy Bright, and Sandra (Robert) Saxon, all of Hardeeville, SC; three siblings, CarrieBell Chisolm of Hardeeville, SC, Earl (Eva Mae) Green of Detroit, MI, and Mary (Willie) Brownlee of Atlanta, GA; seven brothers-in-law Norman Edwards of Savannah, GA, Benjamin Mack, Sr. of Hardeeville, SC, Steven Jenkins of Port Wentworth, GA, Isaac (Zerline) Bright, Thomas (Sandy) Bright of Detroit, MI, Joseph(Ora) Bright, and Revenel ( Mattie) Bright of Hardeeville, SC; onesister-in-law, Betty Chisolm of Hardeeville, SC: thirteen grand-children; twenty-one great grandchildren; one great-great-grand-child; one special cousin, Glena Mae Lebby; a host of nieces, nephews,relatives and sorrowing friends.
