Alvin B. Jenkins,53 slipped into eternal rest on April 18, 2014 at Coastal Carolina Hospital Hardeeville SC. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday April 23, 2014 at St. Stephens AME Church, 710 Main St. Hardeeville SC. Interment Pelot Cemetery Hardeeville SC. Mr. Alvin Benedict Jenkins was born on October 22, 1960 in Hardeeville, SC. He was the fifth child of James and Viola Jenkins. He was preceded in death by his sister, Gwendolyn (Curley) Ford. Alvin was educated in the public schools of Jasper County, South Carolina. He was dedicated employee of Greenwood Development Cooperation for 34 years, until his sudden illness. Alvin was a loving, caring, quite and friendly man.
